Gem of a hotel, nice restaurant with an amazing bartender who is friendly. The bed is comfy with a nice kitchen in the room. I will certainly be going back

The State Plaza Hotel in Washington DC exceeding my expectations from the Room Decor to the Hotel Staff. Everyone that I met and serviced me was courteous, helpful, respectful and kind. The Deluxe suite was a dream. Separate living room, bedroom, and full kitchen was home away from home. Decor is very nice and classy. I had breakfast in the dinning room that is nicely decorated and the food is great. I had a veggie omelet that was served with potatoes. The potatoes were cooked and seasoned perfectly, which is not common in hotels. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh to order. The hotel is in close proximity to all of the monuments and sites. I was able to really relax and enjoy downtown DC. I love the State Plaza Hotel, and any time that I am in DC for business and/or pleasure I will be staying at the State Plaza Hotel. If I could I would give the staff and the facility 10 STARS.

This hotel is a real gem! The rooms are very clean and spacious. Service is very professional and helpful. Hotel parking is also available. Close to everything. Georgetown and National Mall are right next to it. Will be back. I highly recommend it!

This place is great! My friend and I got the room with two queen beds. Rooms may look a little outdated but I felt it was spacious for my friend and I to share. The kitchenette was a plus!!! Also a dressing room separating the bedroom and bathroom. I will definitely return here!
