Had a great time in Washington dc the room was great stayed 2 nights. I didn't know that you had to have a room key to work the elevator I wasn't told that. All the staff was great very helpful with directions to resturants and sites. The room had a old tv. The 2nd night no sound on the TV. I called the front desk and someone was supposed to come check it, 30 mins later I turned the TV on and off a few times and the sound started to work so I canceled the help from the staff. The ac/heat must be set from the hotel i flipped and switched and moved and everything but nothing to get the ac on. Late November it was warm but the ac wasn't coming on. Parking was in the basement/ around the corner at another lot for $50 extra a night but I lucked up both nights and was able to park on the street free because if the weekend. I was in the 3rd floor and hearing sirens all through the night. The room rates was good for DC. I would stay here again maybe in a higher floor for the sirens

Great place to stay right in D.C. in the heart of George Washington University. A few blocks from the White House and the National Mall, and 3 blocks from the passport agency and restaurants. The staff was amazing highly recommend.

5 day stay 2 weeks ago. Room was simple but clean. Location is convenient and we felt safe walking in the area. We didn't try restaurant till last night but wish we would've stopped earlier! Server there was a pleasure to talk to. Food was great..try the risotto! Front desk staff very helpful. Hotel actually has two entrances which we found challenging trying to find our room! Next visit, we will only rent a car if we are leaving the city. Helpful tip. When needing a ride, try EMPOWER vs. UBER, TAXI, etc. Pricing significantly less with same drivers!

Zafor was awesome! Even gave me an upgraded room/suite; all because of a minor inconvenience. The rooms were cozy and clean. I do wish there were security cameras in sight and that there wasn’t a homeless encampment outside of the property.
