Clean and spacious. This ...

Clean and spacious. This hotel is right next to GWU campus so very convenient if you are visiting a student/school. We had a room with a kitchenette, sink, microwave, big fridge and working stove! Didn't cook but nice to have!

The rooms here are ...

The rooms here are huge by typical hotel room standards. They include a full kitchen, and mine also had an anteroom/vanity to the bathroom as well as a generously sized foyer and huge closet. The location could be a bit closer to the Metro, but it is pretty close to the Western side of the Mall. Check in was efficient and friendly as was breakfast. It is worth noting that there are 2 buildings which make up this hotel, and there are thus 2 entrances (E St or F St). The buildings are connected through the small underground garage, and it can be confusing to go from one side to the other as the ground floor on one side is equivalent to the 1st floor on the other. The only dissatisfactions I had were: 1. There is a $60 surcharge when checking in for any incidental costs (to be refunded, I was told, within a few business days if no expenses were incurred). 2. The dresser drawers in my room were very musty-smelling. I didn't notice it until I pulled my clothes out to change and they had that smell to them. 3. The bathtub did not drain well. I'd definitely stay here again.

A spacious room, kind staff, close to tour spots. The best hotel in Washington D.C. If I visit again D.C., I will definitely make a reservation again.
