General Manager Arff and Engineer Byron were incredibly helpful when my cellphone inadvertently fell into the storm drain nearby the hotel. Jason and Cesar were also there to lend support. After retrieving my cellphone for which I was grateful we talked about the hotel, it's Owner's history and hospitality philosophy. We had many questions about the incredible high quality of the linens and the pillows. We will definitely be back to Foggy Bottom and stay here in the future.

Great location. Firstly staff. Rooms are big. The hotel and the interior is old but is maintained well. Right beside GWU.

I got the suite with a king bed. It's spacious with comfortable beds. Been here a couple nights and staff have been great. I prefer the showers to have glass doors because the hot water creates a draft the pulls the curtain in on you or out the tub. I also wish they had the shower head handheld. Otherwise, no complaints thus far. Location is GREAT. I've been walking to everything. Going back out tomorrow.

I went in yesterday and they didn't have any openings. I really needed a room as my mother was in the hospital and I wanted to stay overnight.I told them we were regular customers years ago, but they didn't accommodate me.

Overall, the hotel was nice. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is in walking distance to some great food places: Casta’s Rum Bar, Tatte Bakery, and Founding Farmers. It’s not a super quiet location, but that’s due to being in the city and wedged in the middle of GWU student life. There are two entrances, which I thought was cool. You can access the other tower by going to the garage and walking through to the other side.
