Excelente, muy confortable, limpio y cómodo. Esta muy cerca de las mayores atracciones de Whashington, como todos los monumentos del National Mall y los museos más interesantes del Instituto Smithsoniano.

I didn’t realize it had a full kitchen which is wonderful. 1920s art deco style with glass mirrored decoration. Not sure why this is only three stars. Separate “make up” room before entering bathroom. Large soak tub. Water is nice and hot. Toiletries of shampoo, conditioner, lotion stocked daily. Two soap bars. Separate room with closed door for kitchen. Kitchen has utensils, dish soap, dish scrubber, coffee machine, tea kettle. Room service came in every day. My only wish would be a recycling bin in the room and/or in the lobby. It’s about two blocks from the university, so I just took my recycling to the campus. It rained while here and the lobby had umbrellas to borrow. Plenty of electrical plugs. I would book here again! Note: June 2026, there’s construction across the way so you can hear it Monday-Friday during work hours. There’s a restaurant in the hotel but the hours are limited.

I had an exceptional experience at State Plaza Hotel! The staff were incredibly professional, making me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. The hotel's amenities and services exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

I arrived at this hotel on October 29, 2025, in the morning. I have to say I am more than satisfied. In fact, I'm not giving it more stars because there aren't any options, but this hotel deserves even 10. POSITIVE: EVERYTHING. Especially: 1). The lovely welcome at reception from Mr. Kibrom and Laura. 2). Their flexibility in letting me check in early. 3). The hotel lobby is comfortable, modern, and beautiful. 4). The cleanliness, beauty, and practicality of the room (it had everything). 5). The hot water worked perfectly. 6). The friendliness of all the staff, including the cleaning staff (polite and smiling ladies). 7). The hotel's proximity to the main attractions. Thank you, truly. Thank you because it's important for us tourists to be treated well in hotels and, above all, to be so warmly welcomed. =)
