The 2nd Annual DC Comedy Festival is a Wrap... But... We Have more Funny for you. Every month with CHarity RIGHT HANDS FOR LEFT HEARTS. The Festival will be highlighting the best Comedians from the Last two Festivals.  A Comedian from the year before. A Comedian from this year's festival and a comedian from all the festivals. Comedians will perform 15min sets month. Highlighting their talents and skills. Come support artist and find your new favorite Comedian. This month our Comedians are: Charity Sade  Lance Thompson  Alan Massenburg Host for the Show: Haywood Turnipseed Jr. Headliner: International touring Comedian, IVAN MARTIN          Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, he brings characters to the stage that  present an outlook on the hardships of life from a gentleman's perspective. Ivan's comedy is realistically clever and honest but also focuses on his experiences throughout his child and young adulthood. Although he grew up in a house full of sisters, his upbringing is the reason for his "Gentleman Comedy". Ivan started his comedy career in VA Beach while in the NAVY, after residing in Virginia he relocated to the City of Baltimore where he was quickly embraced by the comedy community. He begun to perform at Comedy Clubs and Colleges around the country, also is a frequent performer at the Virginia Beach Funny Bone Comedy Club and Cinema Cafe where he is known as a favorite. In Baltimore, he is known for being one of the most diverse comedians on the scene. Performing and writing various Sketches while entertaining crowds twice a month at his Art of Comedy Showcase (Platform Arts Center) which has been acknowledged by CBS.com 2015 - Best Places to see Stand up in Baltimore.
