Overview: An opportunity to network, share successes and challenges in documentary filmmaking, and provide feedback to several filmmakers on their trailers. The Documentary Roundtable is a monthly program co-hosted by Docs In Progress and Women in Film and Video. These meetings switch off between expert talks held in Washington DC and "Trailer Nights" held in Silver Spring. The Silver Spring meetings are focused on peer feedback and include time for networking. As an antidote to the documentary filmmaker working in isolation, it's a brainstorming, networking, and support group all wrapped up in one.  This is an opportunity to meet others in the documentary community; share your latest successes, challenges, and tips on documentary filmmaking; and provide feedback to several filmmakers on their trailers or scenes. We are especially excited because our new space can accommodate more people than our previous space. No more cramped quarters! It's only one block from the Silver Spring Metro and across the street from a parking garage which is free after 7 pm. Learn more about our new location. If you would like to submit a trailer or scene for consideration, the deadline to submit is June 15 and the link to submit is https://www.docsinprogress.org/screening_application All Documentary Roundtable meetings are free for members of WIFV, Docs In Progress Docs Insider Premium and above members, and HOC residents. They are $10 for all others. If you are a WIFV member of Docs Insider, use the Promo Code which has been provided to you.
