Excellent rooms, older hotel, fantastic location for DC touring.

The rooms were nicely remodelled. Staff was pleasant and very helpful.. Hotel bar is a ripoff as are most hotel bars :) Good news is there is a liquor store right next door for a champagne toast or whatever your choice. Recommend highly for a downtown DC sta

Thank you for a great stay!

This hotel is located in a very nice location and I am very impressed with the services provided! The room is very clean, large, with office space, a kitchenette, all the utensils, and a great, clean bathroom! The staff is very nice and respectful. I especially would like to thank Raul and Israel for their help and attention to details. Great stay

Visiting the museums

This room was absolutely perfect for the two of us for so many reasons. The price, off season, was very reasonable. The location was great (enter and exit on F Street side of the building) in the heart of Geo. Washington U. The room has a full kitchen allowing us to buy supplies at the local Whole Foods and prepare our own breakfasts and a couple of lunches to go. Almost next door is a very well stocked convenience store. The staff were pleasant. The small restaurant/bar was nice to have in house (Raul was accommodating and pleasant). The only negatives, and they are minor, was the valet parking was very expensive and the TV reception and offerings weren't great. Don't let that stop you from staying here the positives far out weigh the negatives. One more positive thing the windows operate so fresh air is an option

Perfect hotel

Visited DC for a show at the Kennedy Center. This hotel was a great find. Very clean, homey, quiet atmosphere. Entire staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms are so spacious. Beds are super comfortable with fresh-smelling linens and pillows. Bathroom is not at all cramped and there is a separate dressing area with mirror. Great shower! Full separate kitchen, as well. Short walk down to the Kennedy Center. Looking forward to staying here again

Great hotel!

My BFF and I stayed here over the weekend of the Women's March in January and I was super surprised at how nice everything was. The price was very reasonable and when we walked into the room I was amazed at how big it was. It had a full kitchen, a full dressing room, two queen beds, a large desk and still had plenty of room to move around. It didn't feel cramped at all. The room was immaculate. Even the shower was super clean. The water pressure was fantastic, and the temperature stayed even through the whole shower. The kitchen supplied everything but the food, It included plates, utensils, cookware and even a tea kettle. The staff was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again. It's also centrally located, walking distance to the white house, the Lincoln memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and much more. There is also a metro stop nearby. GWU is close, so the area is filled with great restaurants and bars also withing walking distance. Check out &Pizza, great specialty pizza at $10/pizza. In the event you forget some toiletries as I did, there is a CVS right next door, almost attached to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends
