Conakry World Book Capital in partnership with the Embassy of Guinea, Guinean Association of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, the GWU African Students Association, Seal of Hope, Miss Guinea North America, Guinean Alliance for Education, Hope of Guinea, and Guinea Edugrade will be honored to count you among their guests at the fundraising taking place at George Washington University. The event is to promote Conakry UNESCO World Book Capital 2017 in the USA, raise funds to build a library in Conakry, Republic of Guinea to ensure sustainable impact of the UNESCO World Book Capital event beyond 2018. Help raise awareness about the event in the USA. We are inviting diplomats, Guinean and African diaspora, writers, authors, foundations, individuals, who are active in the book industry. Education is one of the most important development key of a nation and we want you to partner with us in helping promote literacy and education in Guinea! We will receive a tax deductible donation of any amount. Light refreshment and finger food will be served.
