CEO Sister Mary Bader and the St. Ann's Center Board of Directors request your virtual presence at our 160th Anniversary spring gala - Hope Blossoms! Since our founding in 1860 by the Daughters of Charity, St. Ann's has lived our mission of supporting vulnerable mothers and their children on their journey towards independence and stability. Our work would not be possible without the community support that has allowed us to serve the Washington D.C. region for 16 decades. Please join us in celebrating our history, our founders, and our benefactors by RSVP'ing to our virtual gala, taking place May 13, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM EST. Your ticket purchase directly supports St. Ann's three transitional housing programs, and automatically enters you into a raffle drawing* for a free dinner-for-four provided by D.C. celebrity restaurateur, Chef Geoff! Former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland Michael Steele will emcee our virtual gala. Recording artists Terrence Cunningham and The String Queens will provide musical performances. Journalist Tommy McFly will appear as a guest speaker. St. Ann's Center Board Chair Tonya Sharpe and author Jason Reynolds will honor Jake Garner and Miguel Coppedge with the Michele Heidenberger Volunteer Award. His Eminence, Cardinal Gregory will honor the Daughters of Charity with the Mary McGrory Advocacy Award. We hope to see you for an evening of entertainment, musical performances, and a special look at St. Ann's 160-year history. To purchase your ticket(s) please visit our event website at Sincerely, Sister Mary Bader & The St. Ann's Board of Directors *To be entered in the raffle drawing, you must RSVP by May 10.
