  • How can I Get to the museum?

    Located between the U.S. Capitol and the White House on historic Pennsylvania Avenue, the Newseum is just one block off the National Mall. Our hotel is walking distance from the Newseum or a quick ride on the Metro on the Green, Yellow and Red Lines. Open an hour earlier than the Smithsonian museums, the Newseum is the perfect place to begin your Washington, DC sightseeing adventures.
  • are guided tours available?

    Yes. Guided Highlight Tours are provided daily, and they are an excellent way to see the Newseum's most popular exhibits and collections in a limited amount of time. Each guided tour lasts approximately 60 minutes, and tickets are available at the admission desk. The museum's guided tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and held daily at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
